Oh, I have known him for ten years. In history, he is derived from the epic of Gilgamesh, the oldest hero story.
Why I like him is because I admire his perspective of the world. He had ever said that the goods and evils in the balance will be judged by the morality in contemporary generation, and the last value, will ruled by the future.
Besides, he is the strongest servant in the setting of the fate series, but he is always failed due to his arrogance.
If he regards the match as the weak, he spares no effort and take careless of the attack from opponent.
In my view, I think the opponent he faced is really weak, but why there is always a miracle that save the opponent! It’s not fair! At least, It has no influence on my good impression to Gilgamesh. I like him…
He who saw the wellspring, the foundations of the land,

He has a handsome face…I think his hair looks like a carrot, don’t you?
Why I like him is because his image in Iliad from Homer. He is a hero who has his own principle that he won’t easily give in anyone, even his leader. He values friendship, especially his best partner Patroclus!
I want to know more details about their friendship or maybe love?! I remember that one of participant in Plato’s symposium declared his theory of love by using relationship between Achilles and Patroclus.
In Fate/Grand order, he is the best partner, and I’m always encouraged by his words. His words, just like a power, give me more passion and courage to move forward.
I don't like being told what to do.

This game has created the different image of this character, and I guess some settings are based on
THE CTHULHU CASEBOOKS ( 克蘇魯事件簿 ).
I have already analyzed his personality and his works in journal 2.
Sherlock always says something annoying but actually correct to the truth, and what the hateful one is that he won’t tell us what we really want to know at once.
He likes to keep everyone in suspense. He will say: you will get the answer very soon. Okay, make sense. He is a genius, and I’m an idiot.
Although he always says something that piss others off, I mean it, sometimes I think his mode of speaking is very humorous.
